- This is the revised tankōbon version of this chapter. The original version in the serial was full of ableist language against intellectually disabled people, so the text was edited to remove that in the tankōbon (the source of this translation). Because of the tragic plot and unnatural replacement of text, this chapter was removed altogether in future collections. However, this chapter was adapted to OVA (Karte 10) after major changes to the plot.

2 Yokoi ShoichiThis was a current events reference from 1972 (2 years before this chapter was published in the serial), of the discovery of Yokoi Shoichi in the jungles of Guam.
